Our Mission
Good tutoring shouldn't depend on who you happen to know. Whether it's school tuition, board exam prep, or a competitive entrance exam, EduTemples exists to connect students with tutors who are verified, rated by real students, and bookable in a few clicks — democratizing access to quality coaching rather than leaving it to word-of-mouth and neighborhood ads.
Why "Temples"
In much of Indian culture, a teacher — a guru — is held in a place of deep respect, historically closer to a temple than a classroom. That's the idea behind the name: every tutor on this platform deserves that same respect for the work of teaching, and every student deserves a trustworthy place to go looking for it. "A temple for every teacher, a teacher for every student" is that idea stated plainly.
What We've Built So Far
A verified-tutor marketplace with search and filtering by subject, board, and exam; live 1:1 video sessions; two-way ratings with a blind-reveal design so feedback stays honest; direct messaging between a student and a tutor they've actually booked; a tutor application and verification pipeline with admin review; weekly payouts; a loyalty wallet; and the early groundwork for self-paced courses. It's a real, working product, still growing one block at a time.
